Whether they're moving to a new area for work-related reasons, accommodating a growing family, or resettling due to financial considerations, most people buying or selling real estate are doing so while experiencing major life transitions. Agents and brokers, therefore, need to help their clients do more than just complete a transaction if they want to remain competitive. The Consultative Real Estate Agent shows readers how they can boost their profits by developing strong relationships and focusing on the real needs of their clients. The book shows readers how they can: * build better rapport (and lose fewer clients) * get more referrals (and spend less on marketing) * close more sales by better understanding clients' wants and needs Great real estate agents are one part entrepreneur, one part negotiator, one part problem-solver, and one part counselor. The Consultative Real Estate Agent shows agents how to deepen their client relationships and make more money doing it.
Great resource for creating client systems! Many RE publications have information about lead gerneration, but few have information about what to do when the lead is converted to a client! Servicing clients correctly and receiving referrals should be every agent's goal -- this book assists in setting up basic systems to meet all your goals.
Good stories in each chapter which leave you wanting more but no call to action, no golden egg, same ole stuff. The whole book is one big sales pitch to sign up for her email list which tries to UP sale you into joining coaching seminars which are in the hundreds of dollars.
She does have free downloads, free news letters but if you want the real good stuff that's gonna cost you.
As real estate agents we are so easily suckered.
I was hoping that this book with give me some new insite and really it was nothing more than what I already was doing or had done. Very disappointed.
Awesome book for all agents, especially for a new agent before they get bad habits. It is a Realtors Bible. The information is easy to read and if this systems and processes are applied any Realtor, with any amount of experience will find something in this book to give them a boost. If you need to increase your productivity, as us Realtors tend to waste alot of time, this is a great read. I like the networking and negotiating sections, as well as the referral section, planting th seeds. Ultimately this book has helped me to get back to the basics.
Lots of great information here to be considered. The emotional aspects of any sale should not be taken lightly. Kelle Sparta has a wonderful outlook and approach to consulting buyers and sellers through the real estate transaction. Many agents label their clients as "crazy", "loonie toon", or "psychotic", and they don't consider the emotions that go through each and every one with such a large transaction. I really like her suggestions for getting more information about each clients' situation and trying to look at the world from their perspective to draw from it and help clients through an emotional state. I went to school to be a Child Psychologist, and ended up as a Realtor, but the training I had does come into play with every transaction. Thanks, Kelle, for giving us such a great step-by-step process to help clients, and thereby excel in sales.
