I have a toy poodle. I found that my dog really enjoys the flavor of this toothpaste. He must recognize the package, because when I get it out of the cupboard, he starts dancing around. It's been easier to brush his teeth because he likes the flavor.
The finger brush that came with it was a bit awkward to use, so I went back to using a toddler's toothbrush. He was use to that kind of brush anyway. I might attempt the finger brush from time to time.

Easier than a toothbrush (4.0)

The finger brush is much easier to use than a toothbrush on my dog. The tube is very small.

I have a 4 yr old miniture poodle and a 11 month old Standard poodle that love this tooth paste. When I finish brushing one dog, the other dog tries to get the tooth brush/paste when I am cleaning the teeth on the other dog.
