Excellent variety of sizes, shapes and stones. (5.0)

I was very pleased at both the variety and quality of the beads. The photo was very accurate as to what types you will receive. I am going to enjoy making many pieces of jewelry out of these beads.

I purchased these beads without thinking that they would be quite lovely. There were 2 or 3 that were broken but this happens sometimes. I think they were a great value and I hade enough that matched that I could make several pairs of earrings - thus recooping my cost. Since I already have a lot of gemstone beads I had a few of the stones already to use these with. Otherwise, I don't mind buying chip strands, seed beads or 4mm to make bracelets and necklaces. I make jewelry gifts for friends a lot and this allows me to keep my costs down. These are wonderful and I was impressed.

The pictures shown are very representative, regardles of other reviewers stating that they expected matching beads. You won't get them in this assortment. You WILL get a wonderful hodgepodge of shapes, sizes and colors to challenge your creativity and help you make some beautiful jewelry.

And yes, if you use too heavy a gauge of wire, they will break. They're stones, not metal, and forcing thick wire through small holes will cause breakage. I really don't understand some of these reviews! :)

Not Thrilled (2.0)

The reason I even gave this 2 stars is because a) there were very few that came broken or otherwise marred; and b) the picture does represent them accurately. However, do beware because they are much smaller than one typically sees in those particular shapes - so, while all the different and unmatched colors could have stood alone just fine if they could have been used as individual pieces, none of them were large enough to utilize that way! Also, unless you use beading thread or very thin wire, forget it...many of them are fragile and they broke when I tried to use 18 and 20 gauge wire. I was also disappointed with the selection of gemstones, extremely unremarkable; and while I wasn't expecting anything in the way of expensive gems, I was at least expecting "attractive" inexpensive ones. I guess the lesson here is you get what you pay for, and while they are worth the cheap price, if you are expecting a "deal" you will not get one here. I would not recommend.

Like and Dislike (2.0)

I have been waiting for the product to come home. Finally it got home. I like this because they come in with different colors and size and shapes, which help you more with creativity. However I am dissapointed about this product. more than half of the beads in this order have their own colors. Therefore it is hard for me to make necklaces, bracelets, and specially earrings. how can you make earrings when they don't have the same colors.

definitely a winner for the kids (5.0)

This was a lot of fun for my stepdaughter and my toddler loved the colors and is always trying to wear the finished product. I recommended it to my friend and she liked it a lot for herself.

I purchased this and the earrings for myself and love them. They go with many styles/colors in my wardrobe and are well made.
If you buy these as only jewelry or also for the properties the stones are said to have, you will be extremely pleased!
